A sea-island split yarn
ISOL is a sea island yarn made through conjugate spinning. The alkali reduction processing dissolves the water-soluble polyester of the sea part and leaves only 37 islands, producing an ultra-micro yarn of mono 0.06 denier. The conjugation with high contraction yarns generates excellent suede effects.
