The Jeonju plant (Director Ko, Sung Wook) of Huvis (CEO Shin, You Dong), specializing in chemical and fiber materials, announced on the 18th that it had held a ceremony for its Greater Hope Book & Supply Donation campaign for improvement of the educational environment of elementary schools in Jeollabuk-do, greeting the Family Month.
This donation project is part of Huvis’ signature social contribution campaign, “Greater Hope Donation,” and after examining which elementary schools needed support the most in Jeollabuk-do, selected 8 schools as its beneficiaries.
The event was held at Chung-woong Elementary School in Imsil-gun, Jeollabuk-do, with the company delivering bedding sets made of Huvis fiber materials as well as providing financial support to students from underprivileged families. The financial support will be used to improve school libraries, repair desks and old facilities on the playgrounds, and build experiential zones.
"We hope that this campaign will help create a better educational environment for the students," said Ko, Sung Wook, the plant director of the Huvis Jeonju site. “We will continue to support the local communities with various social contribution activities.”
Huvis engages actively in ESG management, conducting social contribution campaigns for underprivileged neighbors, such as “Greater Hope Housing Improvement,” “Greater Hope Uniform Donation,” and “Greater Hope Briquette Delivery.” (The end)
