We are committed to enhancing our safety and health management system to ensure a workplace free of accidents, major disasters, industrial injuries, and occupational diseases. To achieve this, we are building safety and health infrastructure and strengthening our autonomous safety and health capabilities. Safety and Health Management Policy

Based on the philosophy of respect for humanity and the company’s social responsibility, Huvis has selected safety and health activities as corporate management’s top priority core values. By strengthening the safety and health management system, we aim to achieve a zero-accident workplace. Therefore, we establish and announce the following safety and health management policy, which all employees and workers must diligently implement.

Human Rights Management

Huvis is committed to respecting and protecting the human rights of all stakeholders affected by our business activities, including employees, customers, partners, and local communities, to grow into a sustainable enterprise. We publicly advocate the human rights principles outlined in the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” and the “UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights : Ruggie Framework.” Huvis will adhere to the following principles and policies to prevent human rights violations in our management activities.

    We do not compel labor that violates the free will of any member, including forced labor induced by mental or physical coercion, slavery, or human trafficking. We do not demand the transfer of identification cards, passports, or work permits issued by the government as a condition of employment.

    We ensure that wages for all members exceed the minimum levels set by labor laws in each country or region and strive to guarantee a living wage wherever possible.

Ethical Management

    Article 1 : Purpose
    The purpose of these regulations is to establish specific standards of conduct for the implementation of Code of Ethics at Huvis.
    Article 2 : Relationship with Other Regulations
    These regulations take precedence over any other rules, which must not contain any content that contravenes these regulations.

    ① Always listen to the customers’ opinions, placing them as the foremost standard in all judgments and actions.
    ② Address customer complaints swiftly and accurately to strive for customer satisfaction.

    Article 8 : Protection of Shareholder Rights
    We prepare management data according to relevant laws and standards and diligently disclose related information to protect shareholder interests.
  • Chapter 4 : Basic Ethics for Employees

    Article 9 : Basic Ethics
    ① Employees shall maintain pride and self-esteem as members of Huvis, always upholding honesty and fairness.
    ② Employees shall respect each other, maintain basic manners necessary for workplace life, uphold the dignity appropriate for a Huvis employee, and consistently strive to preserve the company's honor.
    Article 10 : Fair Performance of Duties
    ① Employees shall perform their duties to the best of their abilities in a legitimate manner, adhering to the company's vision and management policies while complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
    ② Employees must strive to maintain and protect the company's facilities, other properties, intellectual property rights, and trade secrets. Under any circumstances, they must not use the company's assets for personal purposes.
    ③ Employees must not exert undue influence on partners or others using their official position, such as personnel requests or demands for various conveniences, nor should they accept such offers.
    ④ Employees must not engage in embezzlement, breach of trust, bribery, or other corrupt practices and must prioritize the company's interests over personal interests when conflicts arise during their duties.
    ⑤ Corporate expenses must be used to perform company duties, and financial transactions between customers or colleagues are prohibited.
    ⑥ Employees must not post or distribute unrelated materials or engage in collective actions such as rallies or demonstrations, nor participate in official political activities for specific individuals, parties, or other political organizations.
    ⑦ To avoid conflicts of interest with the company, employees are strictly prohibited from engaging in dual employment in different industries.
    ⑧ Employees must not engage in unethical or illegal behaviors in daily life or duties that could be criticized by society.
    Article 11 : Regulations During Working Hours
    ① Employees must adhere to the work start and end times specified in the detailed regulations.
    ② Employees must wear the work attire as prescribed in the detailed regulations.
    ③ Employees must not use inappropriate language or behavior that does not suit their dignity.
    ④ Matters related to attendance, absence, tardiness, leaving early, leaves of absence, and departure from workplace must follow the procedures established in the detailed regulations.
    Article 12 : Prevention of Workplace Sexual Harassment
    Employees must recognize that sexual harassment infringes on individual rights, disrupts the workplace atmosphere, and leads to loss of motivation and decreased productivity, and must not engage in any behavior that violates this understanding.
    Article 13 : Information Management
    ① Employees must not use or provide to third parties undisclosed company information acquired during work for personal gain.
    ② Employees must not disclose or provide company information and trade secrets internally or externally without prior approval.
    ③ When acquiring information from competitors or other companies, employees must ensure it is obtained through legally and ethically appropriate methods and must not use the obtained information for illegal or unfair practices.
    ④ Company confidential information must be secured according to security regulations, and any external disclosure of company information must be pre-approved following established procedures.
  • Chapter 5 : Responsibilities to Employees

    Article 14 : Respect for Individuals
    ① We treat each employee as an independent individual with genuine affection and trust.
    ② We establish systems and provide the necessary education and development to enable employees to perform their duties through legitimate means.

    ① We provide equal opportunities based on the capabilities and qualities of our employees.
    ② We fairly evaluate and compensate employees based on their abilities and achievements according to fair standards.
    Article 16 : Stability and Happiness
    ① We maintain systems for the stability and health of its employees, complying with international standards, relevant laws, and internal regulations.
    ② We make every effort to ensure that employees can pursue happiness with their colleagues by fostering an environment of mutual trust, pride, challenge, and creativity.
  • Chapter 6 : Relationships with Business Partners

    Article 17 : Fair Competition with Competitors
    ① We engage in fair competition with competitors based on the principles of free competition without infringing on competitors' interests or unfairly exploiting their weaknesses.
    ② We do not acquire or use competitors' trade secrets through illegal or unethical methods.
    Article 18 : Relationship with Suppliers
    ① All transactions are conducted fairly from positions of mutual equality, and no unfair practices are employed using a superior position.
    ② Necessary information for transactions is provided promptly through appropriate procedures, and the outcomes are regularly assessed and mutually refined based on fair standards.

    Article 19 : Contribution and Service to National and Social Development
    ① We respect the ethical values of society and do not engage in activities that harm the national economy or create discord; we conduct business activities that align with national sentiments.
    ② We provide fair employment opportunities to everyone without discrimination based on educational background, gender, or region.
    ③ We diligently fulfill the taxes and duties imposed by national and local governments.
    Article 20 : Protection of the Environment
    ① We comply with all laws related to environmental protection and engage in business activities that support environmental conservation.
    ② We ensure the availability and operation of necessary pollution control facilities and personnel to prevent environmental pollution.

Mutual Growth

Huvis is building a fair, cooperative relationship with its partners centered on the Partner Code of Conduct and the principles of fair trade compliance. The Partner Code of Conduct has been established based on international norms, standards, and legal requirements to encourage our partners to join us in fulfilling social responsibilities. Huvis and its partners strive to comply with this code of conduct, fulfilling internationally recognized social responsibilities and achieving sustainable and sound performance together. We hope to grow together while maintaining fair competition and transparency in all transactions, adhering to the following principles and policies to prevent and eradicate unfair practices.

Partner Code of Conduct
  • Employment of children under the legal minimum working age is prohibited, and youth labor complies with legal minimum ages, working hours, and conditions.
  • All forms of labor that go against the voluntary consent of workers, including forced and exploitative labor, are prohibited. Employment contracts clearly stating work conditions in the local language must be drafted.
  • Discrimination based on race, skin color, age, gender, origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, political orientation, union membership, or marital status in hiring, promotions, compensation, training, and other employment practices is prohibited.
  • All workers must be treated with dignity. The workplace shall be free from sexual harassment, abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, verbal abuse, or other inhumane treatment or threats.
  • Partner companies must comply with legal standards regarding maximum working hours, minimum wages, benefits, labor hours, and compensation.
  • Partner companies must recognize the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining as guaranteed by law, creating an environment where workers can communicate with management about working conditions without fear of discrimination, retaliation, intimidation, or harassment.
  • All forms of corruption, including bribery and illicit benefits, are strictly prohibited, and all related legal standards are adhered to. Confidentiality and protection for whistleblowers are guaranteed.
  • Workers must be provided a safe and healthy working environment, including hazard evaluation and mitigation, continuous education, emergency response training, and provision of personal protective equipment, complying with all legal requirements.
  • All necessary environmental permits must be obtained and updated. Efforts must be made to minimize any adverse environmental impacts from manufacturing processes, including emissions, waste, wastewater, and resource use.
  • Using raw materials obtained through illegal and unethical means, including conflict minerals, is prohibited. Systems to guarantee this must be established, and cooperation in due diligence by Huvis on the origins and suppliers of raw materials is required.
Compliance with Fair Trade
  • Fair Competition : We respect and support fair competition in the market. We prohibit irrational competitive actions, monopolization, price fixing, or imposing unfavorable conditions on specific customers or partners and strive to maintain fair competition.
  • Transparency and Integrity : We maintain transparency and integrity in all transactions. Important information such as transaction conditions, prices, and contract terms is clearly shared with counterparts, preventing misinformation or misuse during transactions. Additionally, we adhere to relevant regulations to ensure the accuracy and truthfulness of our accounting records.
  • Relationship with Partners and Suppliers : We consider mutual respect and benefit in all dealings with partners and suppliers. We adhere to fair terms and agreed-upon agreements with suppliers, agents, and sellers, maintaining cooperation that benefits both parties.
  • Ethical Transaction Compliance : We require ethical behavior in transaction processes. Transactions involving bribery, kickbacks, gifts, or personal benefits as improper means are prohibited, and all employees are held accountable for compliance.
  • Internal Auditing and Control : We establish internal auditing and control systems to prevent and monitor unfair practices in transaction processes. This helps identify potential risks and take appropriate measures to prevent unfair trade practices.
