Huvis Successfully Wraps Up Participation in Techtextil 2026, Accelerating Global Expansion with Differentiated Materials

2026-04-24

- Marking the company's 7th participation in the world's largest industrial materials exhibition since making its debut in 2013

Huvis (CEO Kim Seok-hyun, 079980), a company specializing in chemical fiber materials, demonstrated its technological prowess and competitiveness in the global market through Techtextil 2026, the world’s largest industrial materials exhibition. Huvis announced on the 24th that it introduced a variety of differentiated materials and conducted marketing targeting the European and global materials markets at Techtextil, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from the 21st to the 24th.

Held biennially since 1986, this exhibition is the world’s largest industrial materials trade show, attracting approximately 1,500 companies from over 50 countries and more than 40,000 visitors each time. Huvis is solidifying its position in the global materials market by participating in Techtextil for the seventh time this year, following its first appearance in 2013.

During the exhibition, Huvis showcased a comprehensive portfolio of 10 flagship products, including eco-friendly, high-performance materials, super fibers, and industrial materials. The company actively expanded its global sales channels, conducting more than 100 business consultations with international buyers during the event to aggressively penetrate European and other global markets. In particular, differentiated automotive materials such as P-POL and Ecoever LM, as well as the high-performance cooling material Duraron-Cool, attracted significant interest from local buyers.

P-POL is a product designed to replace polypropylene (PP), which is currently used for automotive interior and exterior parts. It is gaining attention as a key solution for material standardization aimed at enhancing compliance with European End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) regulations and improving recyclability. Ecoever LM is the world’s first chemically recycled LMF (Low Melting Fiber) product. Depending on the content of recycled raw materials, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to half, making it a material optimized for the carbon-neutral trend.

Duraron-Cool is a "cool-to-the-touch” fiber that provides an immediate cooling sensation upon skin contact. It has already secured the top market share in the domestic cooling material market, proving its unrivaled technological prowess. With demand for cooling materials surging due to climate change, including recent heatwaves in Europe, the company plans to fully launch its entry into the European bedding and apparel markets based on its successful domestic model.

In addition, the company showcased a variety of differentiated products at this exhibition—including Ecoen, a biodegradable PET fiber expanding into medical applications; Triron, a fluorine-free water-repellent high-tenacity yarn; and Zeta One, a PPS fiber—establishing a foothold for expanding into global markets.

“Techtextil 2026 served as a crucial opportunity to once again demonstrate our technological capabilities to the global market,” said Huvis CEO Kim Seok-hyun. “We will proactively address the strict environmental regulations and demand for high-performance products in global markets, including Europe, while further strengthening relationships with existing customers and actively seeking out new ones,” he added.
