HUVIS (CEO Kim, Suk Hyun, 079980), specializing in chemical and fiber materials, and PNL (CEO Lee, Kyung Soo), specializing in premium sofas, announced that they will participate in the 30th Seoul Design Living Fair to be held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from February 26 to March 2 as part of their plan to accelerate the marketing of eco-friendly suede sofas.
The Seoul Design Living Fair is the largest home furnishings exhibition in Korea and has been held annually since 1994 with the aim of promoting the domestic home furnishings industry. This year, the fair is celebrating its 30th anniversary and is the largest ever, with more than 500 domestic and international brands participating in various categories, including furniture, sofas, home appliances, lighting and interior materials, to showcase the latest trends.
At this exhibition, HUVIS and PNL will showcase the NEEZ sofa made of Feeliv, an eco-friendly suede fabric. They will display a total of 10 products at the booth, which covers an area of about 178 square meters, and provide a space where visitors can experience the NEEZ sofa, which is made only of Feeliv fabric and human-friendly materials. Sessions for general consumers and B2B consultations will also be held. PNL will directly manage its operation, including production, delivery, and after-sales service, to streamline the distribution process and provide premium quality products at reasonable prices.
Feeliv is an environmentally friendly suede fabric developed by HUVIS using SK Chemical’s SKYPURA (a type of engineering plastic) as the main material. It has a softer feel than natural leather, a luxurious color that is difficult to achieve with ordinary fibers, and is lightweight and durable. Feeliv is also hygienic as it is anti-allergic and dust-mite-proof, and resistant to dirt and friction, making it an optimal material not only for interior materials such as sofas and furniture, but also for automotive interior materials.
“Feeliv is a product that combines both eco-friendliness and functionality as an alternative to natural leather,” said Kim, Suk Hyun, CEO of HUVIS. “Through this exhibition, we will introduce the excellence to more customers and further expand our eco-friendly and differentiated product portfolio.”
