Specializing in chemical and fiber materials, Huvis (CEO You Dong Shin, 079980) announced on the 20th that it will hold the 2021 R&D Solution Fair to introduce Huvis’ new products and technologies and to also capture client needs and market trends. Marking its second year now, the R&D Solution Fair will be held by visiting the clients directly instead of hosting a big event in one place due to COVID-19.
Seong-yoon Park, R&D Center Vice President at Huvis, as well as the researchers, GTM (Go To Market) Team, and relevant division staff will meet with the major clients of each department at Huvis to improve material quality, help overcome on-site difficulties, and discuss technical cooperation for specialty products that go beyond general technology in the mid- to long-term view. Based on the philosophy that the key to future materials is in the market, Huvis has established a GTM Team in 2021 to promote communication with clients to serve as the control tower that links the market with R&D.
The tour begins today and will continue until mid-May in the theme “Save the Earth”. Focusing on not only environment-friendly materials, such as biodegradable PET fibers and recycled products, to save the earth, but also lightweight materials for vehicles and eco-friendly food container materials, this event will allow Huvis to listen to the voices of the field and accelerate the development of its various applications.
After last year’s R&D Solution Fair, Huvis developed various materials for face masks in these unusual times caused by COVID-19. Listening to the feedback that most recycled materials are from imported raw materials overseas, thereby failing to reduce PET waste in Korea, Huvis also invested in raw materials production facilities within the Huvis plant.
“No matter how excellent a technology might be, it is bound to die out without the market for it,” said Huvis CEO You Dong Shin. “Huvis will continue to strive for the development of new materials that can improve the quality of life for our consumers by cooperating and coexisting with our partners.”
