Specializing in chemical materials, Huvis has donated soccer uniforms to students in Jeonbuk once again this year. On the 15th, Huvis held a ceremony for donating soccer uniforms at Iridong Middle School in Iksan, which was attended by Principal Mi-sook Kim and Huvis employees. The uniforms will be presented to 40 soccer team students in Iridong Middle School.
The ‘Dream Uniform’ event has reached its 7th anniversary this year and is part of the ‘Dream Project’. Founded in 1953, the soccer team at Iridong Middle School has a long history and tradition, winning the U-15 Secondary Fall League in 2019 and finishing as the runner-up of the 2020 National Secondary Football League. “Many students are striving to fulfill their dreams of becoming a soccer player despite their difficult situations at home,” said Mi-sook Kim, principal of Iridong Middle School. “Thank you for supporting their dreams in these tough conditions caused by COVID-19.”
“We hope students wear the uniforms and further boost their infinite energy and dreams, blooming like fresh flowers in spring,” said Seong-wook Ko, General Manager of Huvis Jeonju Plant. “Moreover, we hope this helps expand the base for soccer in Jeollabuk-do.” Aside from the Dream Uniform project, Huvis is also carrying out various donation activities for underprivileged people every year, providing everything from meals and bedding to briquettes.
