Specializing in chemical materials, Huvis (CEO Shin, You Dong, 079980), announced on March 25 that the company donated blanket sets so that the neighbors in need in North Jeolla Province can stay warm despite the last cold snap.
On that day Huvis delivered 20 blanket sets made using its own products to the Jeonju Briquette Bank, a charity organization.

This donation was made as part of the ‘Dream Project,’ the Huvis representative social contribution activity. Every year the company provides meals to undernourished children, uniforms, books and daily necessities. Huvis decided to donate the blanket sets in the belief that the underprivileged who are more economically vulnerable due to the spread of COVID- 19 need more attention and help.

“It is March when the warm spring breeze blows, but low-income families are still struggling financially due to the spread of COVID-19 that does not seem to wane,” said Seong Wook Ko, the Huvis Jeonju Plant manager. “I hope that the warmth of the blanket will melt not only the last cold snap, but also the frozen bodies and minds of the underprivileged.”

Every year, Huvis continues taking the lead in sharing with people in need with the ‘Dream Lunch Box (One Meal a Day during School Vacation)’ ‘Dream Uniforms’ and ‘Dream Briquettes’ event.
