Huvis(CEO Shin, You-dong, www.huvis.com) announced that it delivered ‘Dream Uniforms’ to support young soccer players that will someday become members of the national team in Korea. The company presented uniforms and support funds to Jeonju’s Jochon Elementary School on the 25th with the attendance of principal Gwi-soon Cho and guidance counselor as well as Huvis employees.
‘Dream Uniforms’ is one of Huvis’ ‘Dream Projects’ supporting elementary school soccer teams in Jeonbuk Province. There are currently five elementary schools in Jeollabuk-do that operate a soccer team, but many of them are facing difficulties in managing their respective teams. Huvis is actively providing aid to the schools in need on a rotation basis every year, and this is the second time that Jochon Elementary School has been receiving support since 2015.
“Our team is about to enter the National Junior Sports Festival at the end of May, and the donation of uniforms is a great contribution for us,” said Jochon Elementary School principal Cho, Gwi-soon. Huvis General Manager Hyeon, Jong-cheol said, “We’re planning to continue providing support so that the children’s dream of becoming national soccer players is not impeded due to their difficult home environment.”
Jeonju’s Jochon Elementary School has a long tradition, marking its 100th anniversary of foundation this year, and the soccer team was founded in 1997. As part of the physical activities to enhance the physical strength of children, the soccer team is exhibiting solid performance by winning all kinds of soccer games every year.
