The sudden cold snap has accelerated the preparations for winter. People are now busy preparing for the long winter by checking their heating devices before the bitter cold really sets in. Briquettes are the most needed item of all, especially for the underprivileged.
Huvis (CEO Shin, You Dong, 079980) is also donating briquettes to those in need around the offices nationwide. Starting with Daejeon on November 14, Huvis donated 4,000 briquettes each to Jeonju, Ulsan and Seoul, adding up to a total of 16,000 briquettes donated for people in need.
“We hope these people in need receive more help from others so that they can spend winter in a warm and cozy environment,” said Huvis HR Director Kim Jong Soo.
Huvis has been carrying out the Dream Project year-round by donating supplies, books and food to underprivileged residents and children every year, and briquette sharing is a part of the project.
