Huvis delivers donations to eight elementary schools in North Jeolla Province, Korea through the project titled Dream Supplies Support

- Funding for construction of facilities and purchasing of goods provided to 50 schools in North Jeolla Province since 2012

Huvis (CEO Shin, You Dong, www.huvis.com), a company specializing in chemical materials, again embarks on the Dream Supplies Support Project to select eight deprived elementary schools in North Jeolla Province, Korea to improve and help them enhance their environment and purchase needed educational materials through the Dream Supplies Support.
Last September, Huvis selected and conducted on-site inspections at 15 elementary schools throughout North Jeolla Province, Korea from the list of schools provided by the North Jeolla Province Office of Education, assessed the validity of the project and their need for support and finally chose eight elementary schools. On October 10, Huvis and school faculty and staff members came together to attend the donation ceremony at Irinam Elementary School, one of the eight selected schools.

The selected elementary schools are small schools with less than 40 students and truly need the extra help due to their lack of educational systems including broadcasting equipment, audio system and computers, heating and other welfare facilities.

"I'd like to thank Huvis for the funds they provided. We will decorate the outer wall of the school, so students can enjoy beautiful paintings when they come to school. This wall sharing narrative rather than a lifeless concrete wall will act as an inspiration to support students and their lofty dreams", said Gwon Misook, the principal of Irinam Elementary School.

"This project aims to improve the environment of small and neglected elementary schools. It is meaningful and worthwhile in a sense that it changes the living conditions of young students and allows them to dream of a better future. I hope that more and more people combine their efforts to help neighbors in need", said Hyun, Jong Chul, Vice President of Huvis’ Jeonju Plant.

The efforts from Huvis' Dream Supplies Support Project have been conducted since 2012 and have helped a total of 50 elementary schools until now. The company also carries out other social contribution programs including ‘Dream Briquette Delivery’ which involves delivering briquettes to neglected neighbors, ‘Dream Project! One Meal a Day during School Vacation for students’ and ‘Dream Uniform’ for school soccer club members.
