Huvis (CEO / Yoo, Bea Keun, www.huvis.com), a leader in advanced chemical and fiber materials, has announced its 2013 executive level personnel appointments and restructuring plans, implemented to reach its targets set for Vision 2016 .
 
To strengthen its core business areas, the first action item of Vision 2016, HUVIS is enforcing its greatest profit maker, the Staple Fiber Business. The SF Business Department has been reorganized into SF1 and SF2 while also expanding from its previous 3 teams to its current 5 teams in order to focus on expanding markets and new differentiated product sales.
 
In addition, in order for Huvis to strengthen the basis of its competitiveness in terms of the quality and cost competitiveness of its Jeonju plant, a new plant manager and deputy plant manager system has been introduced. This is to strengthen professionalism by focusing the plant manager’s role on General Business Affairs, while that of the deputy plant manager is on business improvement activities and productivity improvements. Also, in order to expand business for advanced materials, there are currently operation plans in place to expand the advanced materials production team within the Jeonju plant.
