On November 30, Huvis, a company specializing in advanced fiber materials (CEO / Yoo, Bea Keun, www.huvis.com) announced that the company has promoted its campaign to “nourish hope” through the delivery of briquettes. The initiative is itself part of its “project to nourish hope” which was started in the second half of this year, and delivered briquettes of hope to elderly people who live alone in Palbok-dong, Jeonju-si, Korea.
This “hope nourishing briquette delivery” campaign was promoted 4 times at the head office in Seoul as well as plants in Ulsan and Jeonju. Through this, the company has donated 12,000 briquettes to overlooked neighbors in its local community.
In addition, 50 employees from each workplace, including CEO Yoo Baegeun, participated at the forefront of this “hope nourishing briquette delivery” campaign.
Through the “hope nourishing project” started earlier this year, Huvis promoted its “hope nourishing class” to provide an education to children from low-income families and "hope nourishing music rooms,” helping to build music rooms in poor elementary schools. The company will also continue to promote support projects for neglected children through its “hope nourishing library” and “hope nourishing lunch box”.
