To emphasize the central theme of respect for the natural environment, there were various environment-related programs on offer, such as a global warming experience, Jeonjucheon Stream fish exhibition, and a weather and climate change exhibition that allowed participants to see the importance of the environment.
 
Since the first event in 1996, the Nature Love and Green Heart Writing and Drawing Festival has secured its place as a leading environment festival that represents Jeonbuk with the participation of at least 10,000 people every year. It is considered a model case for companies and the community to think about the value of the environment together. “We want to promote awareness of the value of the environment for growing children, and inspire their dreams about writing and art,” said an official at Samyang Group.
 
The host will present certificates and scholarships for 541 people, including special awards from the Minister of the Environment, the President of the Jeonju Regional Environmental Office, and the President of the Korea Environmental Preservation Association. The winners will be announced on May 1 on the websites of Samyang Corporation (www.samyangcorp,com<www.samyang.com>), Samyang Kasei (www.samyangkasei.com), and Huvis (www.huvis.com). 


The awards ceremony will be held on May 13 at the Jeonju branch of Seven Springs, an eco-friendly restaurant run by Samyang Group.
