Huvis(CEO Bae-keun Yoo, 079980)), specializing in chemical and fiber materials, recently stated that it will participate in 2016 Preview in Daegu (PID), an exhibition that will be held at EXCO Daegu from March 9 for a period of three days, and present a variety of functional materials that reflect the new 'Athleisure look' trend that has blurred the distinction between sportswear and everyday wear.
 
The concept of the company in this exhibition focuses on fashion-added performance materials and comfortable fashion apparel materials.
 
In the category of performance, the company plans to present various functional materials, including "Coolever" with excellent sweat-absorbent and quick-drying performance, "Seaone" with a cool feel and UV protection, "Mirawave" with excellent anti-bacterial performance, and ultra-light insulation fiber "XN".
 
In the category of fashion apparel, the company has exhibited materials emphasizing the differentiated technologies of Huvis. Combining emotion and functionality required for fashion materials, these products include "CEY" represented by polyester spandex, "Memory" with a shape memory feature, and "MOKA" expressing cotton-like emotion. "Recently in the apparel materials market, the distinction between different materials is beginning to fade as every type of apparel, ranging from outdoor/sportswear to everyday wear and suits, recently emphasizes fashion and comfort, and there is rapidly growing demand for stretch yarns that are natural and comfortable to wear," said Man Gyu Kim, FY Division vice president.
 
Huvis plans to attract customers with a 'at-a-glance' exhibition of a variety of materials and finished fabrics in collaboration with six other companies providing differentiated weaved/knitted fabrics (Gaon Knit, Duckwoo Corporation, Mosung Textile, Jae Yeon Textile, Texmill, and Hoshin Textile).
